LatineLit
LatineLit is an online literary magazine founded and edited by Russ López that publishes fiction by and about Latinx people. Created to expand the range of Latinx voices in contemporary literature, the magazine features work across genres, styles, and lived experiences.
LatineLit serves writers, readers, educators, and booksellers interested in thoughtful, well-crafted stories that reflect the diversity and complexity of Latinx life. The magazine publishes both emerging and established writers, including work rooted in realism, history, and speculative traditions.
Sign-ups are welcome from both readers and booksellers. Subscribers receive updates on new issues, featured stories, and literary recommendations.
Shawmut Peninsula Press
Shawmut Peninsula Press is an independent publishing house founded by Russ López. The press publishes a curated list of fiction, history, and socially engaged nonfiction by a wide range of writers.
While Russ is the founder, Shawmut Peninsula Press is not solely a vehicle for publishing his own work. The press is committed to amplifying diverse voices and working collaboratively with authors whose books contribute meaningfully to literary and cultural conversations.
