Writing
With more than six books and over two dozen stories and articles published, the range of my writing has been broad. But across fiction and non-fiction, there are common themes:
My writing is from a unique perspective. Not mainstream, Definitely for those seeking new voices.
My writing is passionate. I believe in my characters, even the villains. I root for the underdogs, those striving for something where the odds ae against them.
My writing is lyrical. It has rhythm, timing, and will sometimes make you want to sing out loud.
Fiction

I believe in the power of words. I strongly think that a good book or story can change minds, inspire the discouraged, and help us understand ourselves.

PROVINCETOWN STORIES.
My first fiction book is Provincetown Stories, a collection that is set in that romantic fishing village / resort / LGBTQ mecca at the tip of Cape Cod. My goal was to capture the town's essence and to document the spirit of happy eccentricity that has inspired artists, writers, and the hopelessly romantic for over a century. In these pages, you will feel the sand between your toes, smell the luxurious pine forests, and hear the laughter and music in the center of town. Many call the town Land's End. I think it's the place where life begins.

SHORT STORIES
The great thing about a short stories is that they give the reader the opportunity to explore a new universe in a few minutes of their time. While most of my stories have at least a toe touching reality, that is only the beginning of the tale I am going to spin for you. Here are links to a few of my published stories:

CURRENT PROJECTS
My next fiction book will be a novel that updates Oscar Wilde's classic, The Importance of Being Ernest. Tentatively scheduled to be released in 2027, it sets the story to contemporary New York City where you will find Jack and Algernon using catfished videos and purloined identities to provide cover for their imaginary friend Ernest 's outrageous antics. Like the original, wit and social commentary

Also, stayed tuned for another volume of Provincetown Stories.

Nonfiction

Nonfiction was my gateway into writing. Having articles published in scientific journals gave me confidence in my voice. I learned I had something to say and that people wanted to hear what I knew.
